What kind of school is MMACA?
MMACA (Mixed Martial Arts Christian Academy) is a boarding-style free school for boys that aims to help students earn their high school diplomas while nurturing their character, intellect, and physical health through Christian education, mixed martial arts (MMA), and problem-based learning (PBL).
Q. What kind of people can enroll?
This program is for individuals who are graduating junior high school, have already graduated junior high school, or have dropped out of high school. We value a strong desire to "grow" more than age or prior experience.
Q. Can I visit the school or participate in an open house/trial class?
Yes. We accept school tours and individual consultations by reservation only. You can then consider our school after confirming the facilities and educational content.
Are there entrance exams?
There are no academic ability tests. Through interviews, we will mutually confirm whether you sympathize with MMACA's educational philosophy.
High school diploma
A. Can I earn a high school diploma?
Yes. At MMACA, we aim to obtain a high school diploma in cooperation with Seisa Kokusai High School through our affiliated vocational school, Hikari no Ko Freeschool.
Q. Is report writing difficult?
We support each person at their own pace. Please rest assured that our faculty will support your learning.
A. Is it possible to go on to university as well?
After graduating from high school, you can pursue various paths such as advancing to university or vocational school, or entering the workforce.
Can I apply for university recommendations through entrance exams?
Yes. After obtaining your high school diploma, you can utilize various university entrance systems, including the comprehensive selection process (AO entrance exams), the school recommendation-based selection process (recommendation exams), and the general selection process.
For the School Recommendation-Based Selection, you must meet the recommendation criteria of your affiliated high school and the application requirements of each university. We will provide more details during individual consultations.
About MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)
Q. Can I attend school while also participating in TOPTIER FC and competing in fights?
Yes, it is possible. At MMACA, students can pursue opportunities to compete in matches, including amateur and professional bouts, while they are enrolled in school, starting with TOPTIER FC.
Q. Is it okay if I have no prior experience in martial arts?
Of course. You can relax, as we will provide thorough instruction from the basics, even for beginners.
A. Yes, you can enroll even if you don't aim to become a professional athlete.
Yes. At MMACA, we value not only winning and losing, but also fostering politeness, perseverance, and a spirit of challenge.
I'm worried about an injury.
We prioritize safety in our instruction. We conduct training appropriate for age and experience, and do not engage in strenuous or excessive practice.
Christian education
Q. I am not a Christian. Can I still enroll?
Yes, you can enroll even if you are not a Christian.
However, this applies to those who understand and agree with our Christian educational philosophy and school life (such as worship services and Bible study). Having faith is not a requirement for admission.
Are you attending the worship service?
Yes. Through daily chapel services and Sunday worship, we conduct learning aimed at character development.
Q. Am I forced to make donations or other contributions?
No. We do not force donations or anything similar.
Dormitory life
What is dormitory life like?
Through communal living, we foster independence, a sense of responsibility, and cooperation. It is an environment where individuals can grow together within a structured daily life.

Q. Will meals be provided?
Yes. We provide nutritionally balanced meals daily (as of July 2026, meals are provided by Sompo Food Care).
A. How should I do the laundry?
Shared laundry facilities are available.
Can I use my smartphone?
You can use it, but we have rules in place to ensure it doesn't interfere with your studies or daily life.
Can I go out or stay out overnight?
Based on the school's regulations, it requires permission.
